Composition: Each uncoated tablet contains: Manjista (Rubia cordifolia) - 56 mg. Saunf (Foeniculum vulgare) - 31 mg. Chirata (Swertia chirata) - 79 mg. Bhangra (Eclipta alba) - 34 mg. Senna Extract (Cassia angustifolia) - 17 mg. Nagakesar (Mesua ferrea) - 9 mg. Kaiphal (Myrica nagi) - 5 mg. Balaharde (Terminalia chebula) - 7 mg. Dhania (Coriandrum sativum) - 18 mg. Guggul (Balsamodendron mukul) - 17 mg. Haldi (Curcuma longa) - 17 mg. Sunth (Zingiber officinale) - 4 mg. Ajowan (Ptychotis ajowan) - 6 mg. Aunla (Emblica officinalis) - 2 mg. Pipli (Piper longum) - 2 mg. Jeera (Cuminum cyminum) - 2 mg. Pharmacology: Chirata and Manjista improve appetite and rid the body of toxic substances. Senna and Saunf have cholagogue action and improve the function of the liver. Bhangra is known for its therapeutic action in enlargement of liver and spleen. It is used in catarrhal jaundice for maintaining the integrity and normal function of liver cells; it has also been used in cirrhosis of the liver. Nagakesara is used as an astringent and stomachic. Kaiphal is an aromatic and astringent. Balaharde is used in flatulence, colic and enlarged spleen and liver. Dhania is a aromatic, stimulant, carminative and stomachic. Gugul is used as intestinal disinfectant and in chronic catarrh of the bowels and as carminative. Haldi, Sunth, Ajwon, Aunla, Pipli and jeera are used as Aromatics, Carminatives, Stimulants and as Digestives.
