J & J Dechane Chiniumco 10x10 Tabs

A combination of ayurvedic drugs for checking profuse bleeding. Composition: Each uncoated tablet contains: Revandchini (Rheum emodi) - 44 mg. Kutki (Picrorhiza kurroa) - 24 mg. Mainphal (Quercus infectoria) - 3 mg. Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) - 12 mg. Hridpatri (Digitalis purpurea) - 15 mg. Phitkari - 3 mg. Pharmacology: Cinnamon apart from being a carminative, astringent, and stomachic, is a good haemostat. It is a stimulant to the uterine muscle, and is used in prolonged labour due to defective uterine contraction. Mainphal is an aperient and ecbolic, and a bitter tonic. Hridpatri and Revandchini are good haemostats. Phitkari is a haemostat and useful in bleeding, piles and leucorrhoea. Kutki is useful in amenorrhoea, and is a cathartic emmenagogue. Indications: Profuse bleeding whether in uterine affections or in piles or through the nose or mouth and dysentery. Painful complaints of the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries in females referred to lower abdomen. Dosage: Children : 1/4 to 1/2 tablet, 3 times a day. Adults : 1 to 2 tablets, 3 times a day.
